Cruz, Bankruptcy Management Corp., Lason Information Systems, Intel, International
Network Services, Watsonville Hospital, NASA, the National Cancer Institute,
National Association of Security Dealers, Eastman Kodak, The World Bank,
the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He has successfully completed over eighty professional projects. He is
particularly effective helping clients understand the software they use
and how to apply it to changing business processes.

March 2001 to Current:† Flora Family Foundation, Palo Alto, CA, Access 2000 Database Developer. Created a new information system for the Flora Family Foundation tracking grants, grant recipients and sponsors.
Ongoing Support Since February 1999:† Oak Grove School District, San Jose, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Ongoing project to produce new data entry and reporting mechanisms for the Modernization departmentís database.
Ongoing Support Since October 2000:† Apple Furniture Company, Aptos, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Created a new information system for managing orders for furniture manufactured in Thailand and shipped to the United States. Includes numerous customized data entry and reporting mechanisms for automated order processing.
Ongoing Support Since January 1999:† Driscollís, Inc., Watsonville, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Created a new information system for tracking raspberry varieties, quality assurance, breeding characteristics, yields and income. Provides ongoing support for new system modules.
Ongoing Support Since October 1999:† Emergency Housing Consortium, San Jose, CA, Database Developer. Database conversion project from Filemaker Pro to Access 97. Database maintains information regarding emergency and permanent housing. System provides data entry, automated transfer and a menu-driven reporting system enabling hundreds of report variations needed for funding.
September 1998 to August 2000:† Lason/VIP Litho, San Francisco, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed a marketing contact database and an invoicing database for a web-based print ordering system. Provided training for staff.
June to July, 1999:† City of Santa Cruz, Water Department, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed a replacement to the Labworks Water Quality Management software system. System tracks water samples, records test results, manages the batch process and maintains an archive for inactive data.
March to May, 1999:† Weston-Miles Architects, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed a Project Management system for Oak Grove School Districtís architectural drawings managed by Weston-Miles. Also developed a drawing storage information management system.
February to November 1999:† Bankruptcy Management Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA, and Milwaukee, WI, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed a complete time management system for tracking time and expenses for consultants with extensive reporting capabilities. Provided support for extracting banking data to financial and legal analysts in multi-billion dollar bankruptcy case. Also developed accounts receivable and payable tracking system for the Beloit Corporation in Beloit and Milwaukee WI.
July 1998: Canteen, Inc., Mountain View, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed a customer and driver route database.
June 1998 to August 1998:† LonMark Interoperability Association, Palo Alto, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed Association membership tracking and billing information system.
May 1998 to August 1998:† V-TEL Corporation, Sunnyvale, CA, Access 97 Database Developer. Developed Project Management and Employee Management database.
September to December 1998:† DeVries Data Systems, Inc., Microsoft Office 97 Instructor. Provided instruction for Office 97 applications, focusing on Access 97.
December 1997 to March 1998:† International Network Services, Microsoft Access 97 Relational Database Developer.† Developed Access databases for the Office and Equipment Leasing Division and for the Legal Department.† Databases include numerous tables, forms, reports, macros and Visual Basic for Applications modules.
October 1997 to November 1997:† Intel Corporation, Microsoft Office 95 Professional Integrated Application Developer. Developed an integrated and automated data processing and reporting system using Microsoft Office 95 under Windows NT 3.51.† Developed and documented operations methodologies for capturing and processing Quality Assurance statistics from semiconductor manufacturing factories worldwide.
October 1995 to October 1997:† Watsonville Community Hospital (WCH); Microsoft Access 97 Relational Database Developer and office Software Trainer. Developed and implemented a relational database for the hospital laboratory and trained personnel.† Developed and implemented several office productivity software training programs for WCH. Provided on-going end-user assistance with a variety of software-related office automation projects.
April 1997 to May 1997:† Wood Associates;† Microsoft Access 97 Relational Database Developer.† Developed and implemented Wood Associates Seminar Series database for tracking attendee data.† Project included the development and documentation of data importation from website, fax broadcast and other electronic sources.
November 1988 - September 1994: MSTC, Inc., Fairfax, VA; Business Process Analyst and Project Manager on dozens of projects for a variety of Federal, State and County agencies, non-government organizations and corporations. The central theme of these projects was the development of electronic and micrographic information systems, including request for proposal development, technical specifications development, large system purchasing consulting, records management systems requirements and conversions of paper documents to electronic imaging systems.
